Sri Naga Sai Mandir (Sri Saibaba Temple) is a renowned spiritual center located on Mettupalayam Road in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The temple is dedicated to Shirdi Sai Baba, and it holds great religious significance for devotees across South India. The name “Naga Sai” originates from a miraculous event that occurred in 1943, when a cobra (naga) appeared and sat coiled near the Sai Baba idol during a prayer service, symbolizing divine presence.
The temple features a peaceful atmosphere with daily aarti, bhajans, and annadanam (food offering) for devotees. A highlight of the temple is the Sai Baba statue brought from Shirdi, which is enshrined in the sanctum and worshipped with great devotion. Special celebrations are held during Guru Purnima, Ram Navami, and Sai Baba’s Mahasamadhi Day, drawing thousands of devotees.
