Adapting to disruptions key for progress, says TATA Steel Global CEO

Geo-political disruption has been there for long; only in an inter-connected world, the global impact is quickly noticeable. Moving on from the victim mindset, and adapting to the new situation ought to be the way forward, All India Management Association president T.V. Narendran, the global CEO and Managing Director of Tata Steel, said on Friday. Elaborating on diverse topics, including the strides made by China in manufacturing, the collapse of Soviet Union, the narrative of liberal democracy versus communism, and concentration of wealth, Mr. Narendran spoke about how discontent among the blue-collared populations due to income inequality had led to economic and cultural backlashes, eventually causing supply-chain disturbances in the realm of manufacturing.
